We cannot guarantee an order and time slot until you have paid the full price of orders under £250 or a deposit of 50% for orders over £250. If more than 24 hours has elapsed since the quote please check availability before you transfer any money to us so as not to be disappointed.

Ingredients and Special Dietary Requirements

All of our ingredients are of the highest quality and freshly prepared without the use of any preservatives. Product ingredients can include eggs, flour, cocoa, sugar, milk, margarine and butter. Note: if a colour other than cream is requested there will be food colour additives in the buttercream including E122, 124 and E129.

Before ordering, please email  info@pipedblooms.co.uk if the recipient of your order has any food allergies or intolerances. While we may be able to omit specific ingredients from the cakes or cupcakes, we cannot cater for food allergies or intolerances as the cakes and cupcakes are baked in a domestic kitchen that uses all ingredients. Our cakes and cupcakes are therefore not suitable for anyone with a food allergy or intolerance.

Best before Date / Storage Conditions

Your cake or cupcakes are baked to ensure they are fresh for the date of your event, we cannot guarantee their quality if they are consumed more than 24 hours after the event. Please note that as we do not use preservatives or additives, our products will not have the same shelf life as supermarket products.

Your cupcakes/cakes need to be kept in a sealed container or their original packaging at room temperature in a cool dry room and must not be refrigerated. We will not be held liable if items are not consumed during the recommended time frame or are stored in an incorrect manner. It is your responsibility to ensure the storage conditions are adhered to. If you are unhappy with your cakes or cupcakes, please return them to us for a full refund (excluding delivery charges).

Non-edible Items

Some cakes and cupcakes contain inedible items. It is the recipient’s responsibility to ensure these are removed before consumption e.g. support dowels in tiered cakes, ribbons and cocktail sticks eg in the unicorn horns and mermaid tails. Please also take care around pins that may be used to secure ribbons on cake boards.

Notice for Orders

To avoid disappointment please give as much notice as possible for your order. However, we will accept short notice orders subject to availability.

Our cakes and cupcakes are made individually by hand, so although every effort is made to ensure consistency, small variations may occur from the design requested.

We require full payment for orders under £250 or a deposit of 50% for orders over £250 to secure your order and chosen date and time. For orders over £250 we must receive full payment of the balance no later than 7 days before the date for delivery or collection.

Changing or Cancelling Your Order

Once you have paid for your order or paid a deposit, any changes in design, date and collection time are at our discretion and may not always be possible.

Please contact us if you wish to cancel your order for any reason and we will consider a refund at our absolute discretion.

We retain the right to cancel your order and offer you a full refund of any monies paid due to exception circumstances beyond our control, such as fire, ill health or a change in government guidelines.
